Queen – Marie-Antoinette knew how to surround herself with the most talented artists of the time, such as Félix Lecomte who made her bust in Carrara marble in 1783.
King – Portrait of Marcus Aurelius as a young man, This is a bust of a young Marcus Aurelius, housed in the Capitoline Museums (Inv. Scu 279). The work is cut off under the chest and dressed in a tunic and military cloak (paludamentum).
